Morfologia modifica
Reproducció modifica
És ovípar[7] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[8]
Alimentació modifica
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 440-1.020 m de fondària.[5]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a l'oceà Atlàntic sud-oriental: des de les costes centrals de Namíbia fins a Sud-àfrica.[5][9][10][11][12]
