Bellapiscis medius és una espècie de peix de la família dels tripterígids i de l'ordre dels perciformes. Va ser descrit per Albert Günther el 1861.[1]

Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 0-5 m de fondària.[2]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Nova Zelanda.[2][4][5][6]
Observacions modifica
És inofensiu per als humans[2] i pot respirar aire quan es troba fora de l'aigua.[7]
