Morfologia modifica

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall.[4]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a Papua Nova Guinea, Austràlia (incloent-hi l'Illa de Lord Howe), les Illes Marshall, les Illes Chesterfield[6] i Nova Zelanda.[7][4][8][9][10][11][12][13]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
