Descripció modifica

Fa 54 cm de llargària màxima.^[5]^[6]

Depredadors modifica

És depredat per l'halibut negre (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides).^[7]^[8]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí i batidemersal que viu entre 98 i 1.270 m de fondària.^[5]^[9]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba davant les costes de Kushiro (el Japó) i des del mar d'Okhotsk fins al mar de Bering.^[5]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.^[5]
