Morfologia modifica
Alimentació modifica
Menja, entre d'altres, peixos (Myctophidae) i crancs.[2]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 450-1000 m de fondària.[2]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Sud-àfrica, Nova Zelanda[4] i el sud-est d'Austràlia (incloent-hi Tasmània).[5][6][2]
