Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 4-15 m de fondària.[1]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al sud de les Illes Ryukyu, el sud de Taiwan,[4][5] les Filipines[6][7] i Papua Nova Guinea[8][1]
