  • Musell quadrat i oblic.
  • Boca petita i protràctil.
  • Un sol parell de barbetes sensorials.
  • Ulls grossos.
  • 35-38 dents faríngies.[2]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a Àsia: Tailàndia,[3] la Malàisia peninsular i l'oest de Borneo.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

Estat de conservació modifica

Només Ellopostoma mystax apareix a la Llista Vermella de la UICN.[20]
