Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 5-90 m de fondària.[2][4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba des de les Seychelles fins a Nova Guinea[5] i les Filipines.[6][2][7][8]
