Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical.[3]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Àsia: Cambodja, Laos, Tailàndia i el Vietnam, incloent-hi els rius Mekong, Chao Phraya i Mae Klong.[6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]
Ús comercial modifica
Es comercialitza fresc i és freqüent al comerç de peixos d'aquari.[18]
