Reproducció modifica
És ovípar[4] i les femelles ponen càpsules d'ous, les quals presenten com unes banyes a la closca.[5]
Alimentació modifica
Menja invertebrats i peixos.[6]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 30–118 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic occidental (des del Japó fins al Mar de la Xina Oriental)[7] i el Pacífic occidental central.[4][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
