Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 420-886 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al Mar de la Xina Meridional[6] i el nord d'Austràlia (incloent-hi Austràlia Occidental).[7][4]
