Zappa confluentus és una espècie de peix de la família dels gòbids i de l'ordre dels perciformes[2] anomenat així com a homenatge al músic Frank Zappa.[3]

Es troba a Oceania: rius Fly, Ramu i Bintuni a Nova Guinea.[4][6][7]
