Hàbitat modifica
És un peix de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall.[4][6]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Indonèsia, Austràlia Occidental,[7] el Japó[8] i les Filipines.[4][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]
