Fa 4,4 cm de llargària màxima.[7][8]

Alimentació modifica

El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,34.[9]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica modifica

És un peix marí, pelàgic (entre 150 i 2.326 m de fondària), oceànic i oceanòdrom,[10] el qual viu a l'Índic[11] occidental (Indonèsia[12][13] i el mar de Banda) i l'Atlàntic[14] oriental (05° 05′ N, 13° 27′ W).[7][15][4][8][16]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans[8] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és baix (10 de 100).[17]
