Morfologia modifica

Depredadors modifica

És depredat per Anoplopoma fimbria (Illes Kurils),[8][9] Reinhardtius hippoglossoides[10] i Bathyraja maculata (Rússia).[11][12]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 150-3500 m de fondària, tot i que ho fa, normalment, entre 800-1200.[5][13][14]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba des del nord del Japó fins al Mar d'Okhotsk, el mar de Bering i Oregon (Estats Units).[5]

Longevitat modifica

Pot arribar a viure 10 anys.[15]
