Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall.[4]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba des de les Comores fins a l'Illa de Pasqua, les Ryukyu,[8][9][10] les Illes Kermadec[11] i les Illes Mariannes (Micronèsia).[12][13][4][14][15][16]
