La major part dels turcs religiosos són [[Islam|musulmans]] [[Sunnisme|sunnites]] de l'escola jurídica [[Hanafisme|hanafita]]. Formen el segon grup religiós més gran els [[Alevis]]. Existeixen també minories xiïtes i petites minories [[jueu|jueves]] de turcs.
