Algunes de les àrees més importants d'armenis a Istanbul són els districtes de [[Pangaltı]] i [[Kumkapı]]. A Kumkapi hi ha el patriarcat, i es coneix pels seus nombrosos restaurants de peix i les seves esglésies històriques. Una de les diferències principals és que Kumbapi és majorment [[Església apostòlica armènia|apostòlic]] mentre que Pangalti té una barreja d'apostòlics i catòlics. Kumkapi està localitzada a la [[Fatih|ciutat vella]], mentre que Pangalti està a la [[Şişli|part nova]].

 

 

[[Vakıflı, Samandağ|Vakıflı Köyü]] ([[Armenian language|Armenian]]: {{lang|hy|Վաքիֆ}} — '''Vakif''') is the only remaining fully ethnic Armenian village in [[Turkey]]. This village and 6 others managed to brave past the Armenian Genocide in the [[Musa Dagh Resistance|Musa Dagh Defense]]. It is home to a community of about 130 Turkish-Armenians,<ref name="lonelyplanet"/> and around 300 people who are from the village who come back to visit during the summer.
