També pot ser útil fer una ullada sobre el tema en alguna versió idiomàtica diferent de la Viquipèdia. Es podria començar per les versions en llengües "properes" al [[català]], com ara la versió en francés, castellà, portugués/gallec o italià, entre d'altres. També serviria consultar a la versió en anglés o en alemany, si en domineu els idiomes, o qualsevol de les deu versions amb més nombre d'articles, ja que algunes vegades els seus articles són més complets, especialment si el tema és d'importància local. En qualsevol cas, encara que no domineu alguna llengua, tot i així podreu recollir informació important des d'eixos articles, com ara dates de neixement, estadístiques, bibliografia, els noms de les persones, etc... Si visiteu i trobeu l'article en versió d'altres idiomes, aprofiteu per a afegir un [[Ajuda:Enllaços entre viquipèdies|''interwiki'']], això és, un enllaç entre Viquipèdies.
 
Per últim, no vos oblideu de les seccions ''Enllaços externs'', ''Vegeu també'', i ''Referències''. Amb el material més detallat i útil que heu trobat quan heu estat recercant (per Google, per exemple), també podrien fer-se bons enllaços per al lector. I a vegades podria haver-hi alguna obra, publicació, investigació, treball, etc... que heu estat esmentant-lo una rere altra vegada, en relació amb el tema que esteu tractant. Aleshores referencieu-lo, també, tot plegat amb el seu autor i la data de publicació. Fins i tot, per a millorar-lo encara més, podrieu aconseguir el llibre, per a consultal i comprovar el contingut de l'article.

It may also be useful to look up your subject in one of the foreign-language Wikipedias, such as the German or French editions. While the English-language Wikipedia is the biggest one in terms of the total number of articles it contains, you may find that other Wikipedias sometimes contain more in-depth articles, especially if the subject is of local importance. Even if your foreign language skills are not particularly developed, you may still glean important information from those articles, like birth dates, statistics, bibliographies, the names of persons that are linked on the page. If you have incorporated the additional information, please also make the appropriate [[Interwiki]] links at the end of your article.
 
Don't neglect the ''External links'' and ''References'' sections. The most useful and accurate material you've found by searching http://www.google.com during your research might make good links for a reader too. And sometimes there is a standard work that is mentioned over and over in connection with your topic. Mention it, with its author and publication date. Even better, obtain a copy and use it to check the material in the article.
