Backgammon: diferència entre les revisions

El joc va ser inventat a la [[Gran Bretanya]] cap a principis del [[segle XVII]], però és membre d'una família de jocs, els [[joc de taules|jocs de taules]], molt antiga, ja que pel que sembla es pot relacionar amb taulers trobats a excavacions a l'antiga [[Pèrsia]] de fa 5000&nbsp;anys<ref>«The use of dice for the game is another indication of its Indic origin, since dice and gambling were a favorite pastime in ancient India. The rules of the game, however, first appeared in the Middle Persian text ''Wīzārisn ī Catrang ud Nihisn ī Nēw-Ardaxsīr'' (''Explanation of Chess and Invention of Backgammon''), composed in the sixth century during the rule of the Sasanian king Khousro I (530–571). Els jocs de taules són molt populars a Grècia, Turquia i tot l'Orient Mitjà. Als [[Països Catalans]] n'hi ha un d'autòcton, el [[caixó]] o [[jaquet]], jugat encara als casinos de [[Menorca]].
