Alimentació modifica

Menja petits invertebrats bentònics (anèl·lids, isòpodes i misidacis).[7]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 831-2830 m de fondària.[5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba des de les illes Fèroe i Shetland fins a les Illes Canàries, Islàndia, Dinamarca, Nunavut[8] i la Mediterrània occidental.[9][10][5]
