Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí i batidemersal que viu entre 250 i 600 m de fondària.^[5]^[7]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental: des del Marroc fins a Namíbia.^[5]^[8]^[9]^[10]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.^[5]
