«Прямоугольное двухстороннее полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее фигуры из герба Красногвардейского района, выполненные синим, красным и жёлтым цветом».

Описание герба: «В лазоревом поле — золотой хлебный сноп, перевязанный развевающейся червлёной лентой, над червлёными выпукло откошенными нижними углами, из которых правый обременён золотой выходящей слева виноградной лозой с гроздью, а левый — выходящей справа ветвью яблони с плодом, также золотой; оба угла имеют тонкую кайму того же металла, книзу сходящую на нет».
