Descripció modifica
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, associat als esculls i de clima subtropical que viu entre 1 i 15 m de fondària.[6][8]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al Pacífic: des del Japó fins a Hong Kong i l'atol Midway.[9][6][10][11][12]
Costums modifica
És bentopelàgic.[13]
