Pot arribar a fer 25 cm de llargària màxima.^[5]^[6]

Depredadors modifica

Al Japó és depredat per Triakis scyllium.^[7]^[8]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, bentopelàgic i de clima temperat.^[5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental: des del sud del Japó fins a la costa meridional de la península de Corea, el mar de la Xina Oriental i Taiwan.^[5]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]
