Descripció modifica

  • Fa 24 cm de llargària màxima.
  • Aleta caudal arrodonida.[4][5]

Depredadors modifica

És depredat per Polypera simushirae i l'halibut negre (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides).[6][7][8]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat que viu entre 25 i 770 m de fondària.[4][9]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba al Pacífic nord: Alaska, el Canadà i Rússia.[4][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
