Icelus spiniger és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels còtids.

Descripció modifica

Fa 24 cm de llargària màxima.
Aleta caudal arrodonida.^[4]^[5]

Depredadors modifica

És depredat per Polypera simushirae i l'halibut negre (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides).^[6]^[7]^[8]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat que viu entre 25 i 770 m de fondària.^[4]^[9]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba al Pacífic nord: Alaska, el Canadà i Rússia.^[4]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]^[15]^[16]^[17]^[18]^[19]^[20]^[21]^[22]
