Morfologia modifica
Depredadors modifica
A les Illes Malvines és depredat per Cottoperca gobio[6] i Salilota australis, i a l'Argentina per Dipturus chilensis.[7][8][9]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 0-600 m de fondària.[4][10]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Xile, l'Argentina i les Illes Malvines.[11][12][13][14][5][15][16][17]
