Hàbitat modifica
És una espècie de clima tropical entre 23 °C-25 °C de temperatura.[6][4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Sud-amèrica: des del riu Demerara (Guaiana) fins al riu Cottica (Surinam).[4][7][8][9][10][11]
