És un peix marí de clima tropical.[1]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al llarg de l'Àfrica Oriental fins a Inhaca (Moçambic), i, en direcció est, fins a Nova Guinea, Salomó i el Japó.[3][1][4][5][6][7] [8][9]
