Morfologia modifica
Alimentació modifica
Menja crustacis petits (decàpodes i amfípodes), poliquets i bivalves.[6]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí i de clima temperat que viu entre 30-375 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba des del sud-oest d'Islàndia,[7] les illes Fèroe i Hemnefjord (Noruega) fins al nord de la Mar Cantàbrica.[4][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
