Menja probabablement invertebrats i peixets.[4]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical (23 °C-27 °C; 9°S-15°S).[2][5]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Àfrica: és un endemisme del llac Malawi.[2][6][7][8][9][10]
