Nemacheilus

Nemacheilus és un gènere de peixos de la família dels balitòrids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes[1] present al Turkmenistan, el Tadjikistan, l'Iran (Zagros), l'Afganistan, l'Índia (Nagaland, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Kerala i Tamil Nadu), el Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, el Tibet, la Xina, Tailàndia, Laos, el Vietnam, Malàisia (Sabah), Brunei, Indonèsia (Borneo, Sumatra i Java) i les conques de la mar Morta i dels rius Jordà, Tigris, Eufrates, Brahmaputra, Mekong i Chao Phraya.[2]
