Descripció modifica

  • Pot arribar a fer 15 cm de llargària màxima.[5][6]

Reproducció modifica

És ovípar i els ous no són protegits pels progenitors.[7]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix d'aigua dolça i salabrosa, amfídrom,[8] demersal i de clima tropical.[5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a Àsia: el Pakistan,[9][10] l'Índia,[11][12][6][13][14][15][16] Bangladesh,[17][18][19][20][21] el Nepal[22] i Birmània.[5]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans i ben apreciat pels afeccionats a l'aquariofília pel seu color brillant i petita grandària.[5]
