Hàbitat modifica

És un peix de clima tropical i demersal.[2]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a la Xina (incloent-hi Hong Kong), l'Índia, Indonèsia, el Japó, Kenya, Corea, Malàisia, Nova Caledònia, Papua Nova Guinea, les Filipines, Sud-àfrica, Taiwan i el Vietnam.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]
