Alimentació modifica

Menja algues, petits invertebrats bentònics i coralls.[4]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 6-730 m de fondària.[2][5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a les Hawaii.[2][6][7]

És inofensiu per als humans.[2]
