Morfologia modifica
Reproducció modifica
És ovovivípar i el mascle transporta els ous en una bossa ventral, la qual es troba a sota de la cua.[6]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 40 m de fondària.[4]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba des de Sri Lanka fins a Samoa, Hong Kong i Nova Caledònia.[4][7][8][9] [10][11] [12] [13][14][15][16] [17][18]
