Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, de clima tropical (24 °C-26 °C)[3] i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 12-33 m de fondària.[4][1]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba des del Japó fins a Austràlia, Samoa[5] i Tonga.[6][1][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
