1 - ORGANIZATION ACTIVITY

ASSOC. AMICAL VIQUIPEDIA, the organization to which refers the present report, was constituted in 2009 as a nonprofit organization. It is based in CL Mare de Deu de Port, 293, 1, 1, 08038, BARCELONA, BARCELONA. It is registered in the legal entities register of Generalitat de Catalunya’s Department of Justice with the number 43169. The organization is subject to Law 4/2014, 3rd Book of Catalunya’s Civil Code, which refers to legal entities, and to Organic Law 1/2002, 22nd March, which regulates the right to create associations and their bylaws. The organization foresees the following activities in order to fulfill their foundational objectives:

1. Support the coordination of “free knowledge projects” hosted in “Viquipèdia”’s official website, an encyclopaedic information source built by thousands of anonymous volunteers which seeks to reach a neutral point of view in its contents by relying on minimum consensus.
2. Favour communication channels within collaborators, suggesting to prepare study meetings, debates, and forums so as to contribute to an exchange of knowledge and best practices related to those projects in which the organization collaborates.
3. Promote scientific research projects and lines of research in any knowledge area so as to better fulfill the projects supported by the organization.
4. Organise and deliver —both regulated and not regulated— training courses about implementing and developing the projects in which the organization is involved.
5. Organise both onsite and online talks and exhibitions considered to be key in order to spread Viquipèdia’s values and encourage all citizens to contribute to this project, especially by content contributions.
6. Contribute to maintain a documentation center and a database, essentially in electronic format, with contents, norms, and protocols to perform the organization’s projects and activities.
7. Collaborate with people, legal entities, and both public and private institutions in different fields, such as local, national, and international, for the better fulfillment of the organisation’s objectives.
8. Promote any other activity of interest to the organization members and compatible with the organization’s objectives.

1 - ACTIVITAT DE L'ENTITAT

L’entitat ASSOC. AMICAL VIQUIPEDIA, a que es refereix la present memòria es va constituir l’any 2009, sense afany de lucre i té el seu domicili social i fiscal a CL Mare de Deu de Port, 293, 1, 1, 08038, BARCELONA, BARCELONA. Es troba inscrita en el Registre d’Entitats Jurídiques del Departament de Justícia de la Generalitat de Catalunya amb el número 43169.

L’Entitat es troba subjecte a la Llei 4/2014, de 24 d’abril, del Llibre Tercer del Codi Civil de Catalunya, relatiu a les persones jurídiques, la Llei Orgnànica 1/2002, de 22 de març, reguladora del dret d’associació i els seus estatuts.

Les activitats que l’entitat té previstes per a la consecució de la finalitat per la que fou constituïda es detallen a continuació:

1. Donar suport a la coordinació de "projectes de coneixement lliure", que es trobin hostatjats al web oficial de "Viquipèdia", font d'informació en format enciclopèdic que és fruit de l'aportació anònima de milers de col·laboradors, i que intenta cercar, a través d'un mínim consens, un punt de vista neutral en el tractament dels seus continguts.

2. Afavorir l'existència de canals de comunicació entre els col·laboradors, proposant la celebració de jornades d'estudi, debats i fòrums que contribueixin a un intercanvi de coneixements, i de bones pràctiques, en relació als diversos projectes en què col. labori l'entitat.

3. Promoure des de l'associació projectes de recerca científica, i línies d'investigació en qualsevol dels camps del saber, per al millor compliment dels projectes recolzats per l'associació.

4. Organitzar i impartir cursos de formació reglada o no reglada, al voltant de la implementació i desenvolupament dels projectes en què participi l'associació.

5. Organitzar conferències i exposicions de forma presencial o bé per mitjans telemàtics, que siguin necessàries per tal de difondre els valor de la Viquipèdia, i animar a tots els ciutadans a que contribueixin en el projecte, en especial a través de les aportacions de continguts.

6. Contribuir a mantenir un centre de documentació, i una base de dades, principalment en format electrònic, amb els continguts propis dels projectes i també amb normes de funcionament i protocols per dur a terme les activitats mateixes.

7. Col. laborar amb persones físiques i jurídiques i institucions tant públiques com privades en diferents àmbits, com ara el comarcal, el nacional i l'internacional, per al millor compliment de les finalitats.

8. Promoure qualsevol altra activitat que sigui d'interès per als associats i compatible amb les finalitats de l'entitat.
