La '''Carta als gàlatesGàlates''' és un llibre del [[Nou Testament]]. Ésescrit una carta deper [[sant Pau de TarsApòstol]] (sant Pau) a la nova comunitat cristiana de la regió de [[Galàcia]] situada a l'[[Anatòlia]] central.
 
Tracta de la controvèrsia sobre el fet de si els cristians conversos des del [[judaisme]] o no, havien de seguir la [[llei de Moisès]]. Junt amb l'la [[EpístolaCarta als Romans]] és de gran significat teològic i ha tingut gran influència en el protestantisme.
 
Un dels punts d'interès d'aquesta carta és que Pau afirma haver conegut a "[[Jaume germà del Senyor|Jaume]] germà de Jesús", el que s'ha fet servir com prova a favor de l'existència històrica de [[Jesús de Natzaret]].
