::::Roman magistrates were governors for one, two, three years ; they were praetors, consuls, and then governors, and one, two, three years later censors, pontifexs, etc. « altres càrrecs » before and after these missions ; during these missions, they were propraetors, proconsuls, prefects. {{tl|Governadors romans d'Egipte}} is the only one template to categorize both « governadors » and « prefects », because Egypt was a special province.
