La Lliga escocesa de futbol, anomenada en anglès '''Scottish Premier League''', és la màxima competició del [[futbol]] [[Escòcia|escocès]]. La '''SPL''' és hereva de l'antiga primera divisió, tot i que la denominació actual neix el [[1990]] quan tot el futbol escocès s'estructurà en quatre divisions. Actualment la formen dotze equips.
