English: Coat of arms of the former Danish municipality of Grindsted. Granted to the civil parish of Grindsted in 1950 and continued as the arms of the new Grindsted Municipality after the municipal reforms of 1970. The pot represents the moors of the area and the local tradition for pottery. The pine cones represents the pine plantations of the municipality.
Dansk: Den tidligere Grindsted Kommunes våben. Tildelt Grindsted Sognekommune i 1950 og videreført af den nye Grindsted Kommune efter kommunalreformen i 1970. Jydepotten repræsenterer heden og egnens traditionelle keramikproduktion. Fyrrekoglerne repræsenterer kommunens fyrretræsplantager |
