Telmatoscopus niger és una espècie d'insecte dípter pertanyent a la família dels psicòdids que es troba a Nord-amèrica: des de Minnesota fins a Nova York,[3] Indiana i Virgínia, incloent-hi Michigan.[6][7][8][4][9]
