Morfologia modifica
Alimentació modifica
Menja invertebrats, especialment insectes. Els exemplars més grossos també mengen peixets.[2]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima subtropical.[2]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Sud-àfrica (rius Orange i Vaal), Lesotho i Namíbia.[4][2][5][6][7][8][9]
