Descripció modifica
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, associat als esculls, oceanòdrom[8] i de clima temperat.[6]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental: des del sud de Hokkaido fins a la resta del Japó (llevat de les illes Ryukyu),[9] Taiwan[10] i el mar de la Xina Oriental.[6]
