Alimentació modifica
Menja mol·luscs bivalves, crancs i d'altres invertebrats.[6]
Depredadors modifica
És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[7] i Plecodus straeleni.[8][9]
Hàbitat modifica
Viu en zones de clima tropical entre 24 °C-27 °C°C de temperatura.[10]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Àfrica: és una espècie de peix endèmica del llac Tanganyika.[5]
