Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, bentopelàgic i d'aigües fondes.[6]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al Pacífic occidental: el Japó,[8] Indonèsia i el nord-oest d'Austràlia.[9][6][10]
