Telmatoscopus tristis és una espècie d'insecte dípter pertanyent a la família dels psicòdids que es troba a Europa (Còrsega, Irlanda,[5] Anglaterra -Essex-,[6] Àustria,[7] Alemanya -Baviera-,[8] etc.) i l'Àfrica del Nord (Algèria).[9][10][3][11][12]
