Morfologia modifica
Alimentació modifica
Menja peixets, incloent-hi Engraulicypris sardella i espècies dels gèneres Copadichromis i Mchenga.[4]
Hàbitat modifica
És una espècie de clima tropical entre 24 °C-26 °C de temperatura.[5][2]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Àfrica: llac Malawi i llac Malombe.[6][2][7][8][9][10]
Observacions modifica
Acostuma a caçar en parelles o en grups nombrosos.[11]
