El ''Mahasiddhanta'' és un tractat d'astronomia en divuit capítols escrit en vers sànscrit, dels quals els dotze primers cobreixen els temes clàssics de l'astronomia matemàtica com longitud dels planetes, eclipsis, conjuncions planetàries, fases de la Lluna, etc.
